Buttermilk Pancakes with Freeze Dried Raspberries 

Today I woke up late and my husband been waiting to eat pancakes for days so I surprised him with brunch.

Hoy me levante tarde!! Mi esposo a querido comer pancakes for varios dias. Asi que decidi darle una sorpresa, Un desayuno-almuerzo ( brunch)

With Eggs, sausage, hash browns and buttermilk pancakes. 

Con huevos, salchichas, hasbrowns (papa rayada) y buttermilk pancakes.

This pancakes were so fluffy and delicious. 

Estos pancakes son suavecitos y deliciosos.

I made my pancakes with freeze dried raspberries, the aroma and flavor was tasty, I love it!!.

Prepare mis pancakes con frambuesas deshidratadas, el aroma y sabor quedo sabroso, me encanto!!.

I bought the freeze dried raspberries at Target, there you get different freeze dried fruits for someone that wants to experiment with smoothies, oatmeal, pancakes or waffles.

Yield 10 pancakes (Rendimiento para 10 pancakes )

Ingredients (ingredientes):

Wet ingredients ( ingredientes liquidos) :

2 cups buttermilk or homemade (tazas de leche agria o leche agria casera) 

1 egg ( huevo)

¼ cup melted butter  (mantequilla derretida)

Dry ingredients ( ingredientes secos)

2 cups all-purpose flour (tazas de harina)

3 tablespoons granulated sugar ( cdas de azucar) 

2 teaspoons baking powder ( cditas de polvo de hornear) 

1 teaspoon baking soda (cdita de bicarbonato de soda)

pinch of salt (pizca de sal) 

Freeze Dried raspberries ( frambuesas deshidratadas o la fruta natural que deseen) 

Extra butter for cooking ( mantequilla extra para cocinar) 
Preparation (preparacion)

Homemade Buttermilk

1 cup of milk + 1 tbsp of white vinegar or lemon juice and let rest for 10 min minimum. 

Buttermilk Casero 

1 taza de leche + 1 cda de vinagre blanco o jugo de limon dejar reposar Por 10 min minimo. 

Whisk all the wet ingredients. 
Whisk the dry ingredients together. 

Revolver todos Los ingredientes liquidos.Revolver Los ingredientes secos juntos. 

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until combine, don’t over mix, let rest for about 5 minutes. 

Intregrar los ingredientes liquidos a los secos y revolver hasta combinar, no sobre batir, dejar descansar aproximadamente 5 minutos. 

While the mixture is at rest, heat the skillet over medium-low heat.

Mientras la mezcla descansa calentamks el sarten a temperatura media- baja.

When is ready, spread the butter into the  skillet and pour the pancake butter (I use 1/3 cup per pancakes ) let cook 2-3 min per side.

Cuando este listo, pasar al sarten mantequilla y poner la mezcla de pancakes yo utilice 1/3 de taza de mezcla por and pancake, dejar cocinar 2-3 min por lado.
